Villa Joli : Rent policy
Rental period
The villa is rented out on a weekly basis or a multiple thereof.
The rental period begins on Friday as of 17.00 and ends on Friday noon at 13.00.
When possible, we can deviate from these rules (eg for last-minute reservations). This is only allowed after mutual agreement.
In case of last-minute reservations, the villa can be rented out on a weekend or midweek basis. The rent is charged per day.
Guarantee
Upon reservation, a deposit of 200 euro needs to be paid.
For weekend rentals, the deposit is only 100 euro.
The reservation is only guaranteed after payment of this deposit.
The full rental fee is payable 14 days before the start of the rental period.
The deposit will be refunded to the tenant no later than 14 days after the expiration of the rental period, after deduction of any consumption costs and/or damage to the villa.
If the villa is left in a dirty condition, charges for cleaning will be applied anyway.
Consumption costs
Electricity consumption exceeding 40 kWh, gas consumption exceeding 23 m³ and water consumption exceeding 2m² are charged on a weekly basis.
Electricity, gas and water consumption are calculated according to the counter and at the price charged by the utility companies to the landlord.
Cleaning
At the end of the rental period, the tenant shall make the house “broom clean”, meaning the villa needs to be left in the same state as upon arrival.
Complaints regarding the cleanliness must be reported to the landlord on the day of arrival.
If you do not wish to do the cleaning yourself, this can be done by the landlord. For this purpose, an amount of 60 euro will be charged . In case pets were present, the fee for the final cleaning will be raised with 15 euro.
General Information
Any comments on the property or cleanliness and possible shortages of the villa should be communicated to the landlord within 24 hours upon arrival.
You need to bring your own bed linen (double bed 1.40m and 4 single beds 0.90m), towels and kitchen towels.
There is an inventory in the villa and it must be checked upon arrival. Any discrepancies should be reported to the landlord immediately.
Receipt and return of the keys is in agreement with the landlord.
Pets are only allowed by prior written permission of the landlord but are not allowed in the rooms upstairs and downstairs.
Smoking is not permitted inside the villa.
The villa may not be sublet.
